The pampa diamond originates in the ancient Aztec civilisation, designed to represent the Andes mountain range which has inspired locals for generations.

The Varon’s design is stylish and practical, durable and secure. The pale signature pampeano blue cotton lining inside is durable, complete with a zipped compartment great for travel documents and electricals. Structurally, the bag boasts a hard base and two leather carry handles, ensuring the security of the bag. The Varon also comes with a detachable shoulder strap, which is adjustable, and decorated with a delicately hand stitched pampa diamond pattern. The vibrant thread comes in a choice of burned orange and navy or cream and navy and is made of wax-dipped saddlery threads. 

Each product in pampeano’s broad range is lovingly crafted by expert artisans, made from local materials. The genuine Argentine leather undergoes a tried-and-tested vegetable tanning process to ensure that it improves over the years, remaining luxuriously soft.

A brown leather and khaki canvas version of the Varon is also available. We also stock a plain leather version, for those who can’t get enough of pampeano’s premium butter-soft leather.
